Review of When Opposites Meet
About the book:
What happens when opposites meet? When two completely
different people find themselves drawn to each other? Can they really find
happiness together? Can wheelchair-bound Ritwika find a chord that connects her
to national-level athlete Chetan? Will Aditi's irrepressible cheerfulness
restart Jayant's life, put on indefinite pause since his parents' death? Does
Indu, happily divorced, rediscover her faith in love with the reclusive Lokesh?
When Opposites Meet is the story of three unlikely couples and the differences
between them. It's the story of love, and the possibility of finding it in the
most unlikely of places.
Verdict:
Sachin Garg, The bestselling Author of many books like I’m
not twenty four, Never let me go etc. is back with a new book with the crispy
social message. Well known for writing about social causes, this time his book
is a story of what happens when the opposites meet. Have you ever thought about
it? Do they Fall in love? How they accept each other?
We see a lot of love stories in our surrounding but this
book is about how one can love the flaws. The uniqueness of the story and the
simple language and narration makes it a good read. Every character is
perfectly crafted and put in the right place. There are three stories going on simultaneously
that makes the book even more interesting. Somewhere the story is predictable
but the presentation style cover for that.
Grab the book as a
weekend read and I am sure you won’t regret this decision.
Rating: I will happily give this book 3 out of 5 stars
